Why I started Logging My Food - TEP 49

  • The Why

    • Not seeing results.

    • James Clear quotes

      • Make good habits easy and bad habits hard

      • People see better results when they log even if they don’t make any changes to their diet

    • Inspired by the members doing our Summer Nutrition Ramp Up and their results

  • What

    • Logging everything I consume with paper and pen

    • Keep the notebook on the kitchen table

    • Basically doing the plate method, some weighing and measure on certain things

    • No macros, no calories, no restrictions

  • Benefits

    • Reduced snacking and alcohol

    • More rolling hills instead of peaks and valleys

    • Accountability to myself

    • Less screen time

    • More water

  • Results

    • Lower body fat percentage or lean muscle mass

    • Look and feel better

    • Performance increase
