Easy versus Hard

It is easy to:

  • Sleep in

  • Complain

  • Watch Netflix

  • Snack

  • Mindlessly play games

  • Only read fiction

  • Get frustrated, scared, angry

  • Only think of yourself

It is hard to:

  • Get up early

  • Find the positives

  • Watch something informative / educational

  • Eat at planned times everyday

  • Do something productive

  • Read non-fiction (learn something new)

  • Control only what you can control and let everything else slide off

  • Put yourself in someone else’s shoes

Which avenue are you going to choose. Doing the easy things are not “bad” and there are times when you should do easy things to relax but if you are always taking the easy route you cannot expect to better your lot in life.
