Why does the Fit Person Workout and the Wealthy Person Budget?

The fit person is already fit and the wealthy person is already wealthy they don’t need to do it any more, right?

The reason that both of these individuals are where they are, is due to the habits and mindsets that they reinforce everyday. Those habits and mindset have built the fitness and wealth that are ingrained. It would be counter to their character to change.

They also understand that by turning away from what got them fit and wealthy will lead them to becoming unfit and not wealthy. Over eating and over spending are not conducive to building health or wealth.

In order to become healthy and fit you must eat well and workout consistently. In order to become wealthy and secure in your financial future you must spend less then you make and pay yourself first.

There are countless nuances to achieving these two things but there are fundamentals that everyone must follow to do it.

Being healthy and fit does not mean you are a professional athlete at the top of their game and working out 4 hours a day. In the same vein, being wealthy does not mean you are driving fancy cars or owning three homes. Healthy and fit people live their lives and do any physical activity that they need to do (playing with their kids, picking the dog up into the truck). Wealthy people can support their families, plan for their retirement, and give to others.

There is no winning health and wealth, they are both infinite games. We want to be healthy and wealthy in order to enjoy our loved ones and our life. We strive for being a bit better everyday.
